The challenges are for (but not limited to) students and practitioners of cyber security, information technology, and computer science. Those who need to be challenged, either to test their ability to perform a task or challenge them with new things. The NICE Challenges are a way to see if a lesson of theory is translating into real work application, if a competition team member is ready for the gamut of problem-solving tasks they are soon to be faced with, or most importantly to give those soon to enter the workforce the experience they will need before they get there.
